Amazon Fresh launches Jeremy Clarkson’s Farm Shop

Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm Shop in the Cotswolds is a magnet for Jeremy Clarkson enthusiasts who line up the parking lot each week to buy the products inside.

Customers can now order online and in some Amazon Fresh shops throughout the UK, and avoid the long queues.

Previously, customers could only buy products from the shop after watching it being constructed in the Amazon Prime TV show Clarkson’s Farm.

Fans of the show have flocked to the farm shop from all over the country.

Piccalilli is available, as are rapeseed oils, chutneys and coffee. Beef jerky, honey, and beef jerky. Prices range from £1.70 per packet of ready-salted chips to £39 for “cow’s juice” vodka.

Matt Birch, Director at Amazon Fresh UK said: “Adding exciting, different products that our customers know and love to Amazon Fresh expands our selection but also demonstrates how we are building the best-in class grocery shopping experience for customers, whether they shop online or in store.”

Clarkson and Lisa Hogan, former Top Gearpresenters, opened the Diddly Squat Farm Shop in Chipping Norton in 2020. The shop stocks products produced on the Diddly Squat Farm and by other businesses in Cotswolds.

The Prime Video series Clarkson’s Farm features a lot of it. It follows Clarkson (64), and other characters in the farming community, as they deal with the trials and tribulations that British farming brings.

Rapeseed oil is available in a variety of forms.

Fans of the show have visited the farm shop from all over the country. Lack of parking forced visitors to park along the roadside and adjacent fields. This led to complaints from the villagers.

Clarkson has been in a number of planning disputes over his proposals to expand Diddly Squat with the council and has encountered repeated opposition.

West Oxfordshire District Council was forced to deny a personal vendetta against the celebrity farmer after a torrent of complaints were made on social media.

The Sun reports that the launch of Diddly Squat’s product on Amazon Fresh coincides season 3 of Clarkson’s Farm. It will premiere on May 3. The show is expected to include a variety of challenges on the farm including the failure of crops due to the extreme heat and the inflation that has driven up prices.
