The funding will also support the expansion of its collaboration with semiconductor partners. The company aims to streamline the integration process for complex hardware systems used in emerging technologies.\n\nThe platform creates a digital twin of computer chips and employs artificial intelligence agents to generate integration code. This approach automates tasks that engineers would traditionally perform manually. Embedd states that this method allows manufacturers to ship production-ready chip software up to six times faster. The solution addresses a significant bottleneck in the industry, where intelligent machines built from components by dozens of different manufacturers often cannot communicate effectively without extensive custom coding.\n\nThe company was founded by Michael Lazarenko, Maxim Gorinov and Valentin Gololobov, who are Ukrainian. They established the venture after experiencing supply chain disruptions during the pandemic and the subsequent invasion of Ukraine. These events forced them to source alternative chips and rewrite software from scratch repeatedly, highlighting the inefficiency of manual integration work. The founders believe this problem will intensify as physical AI scales across various sectors.\n\nSeedcamp led the pre-seed funding round. Other participating investors include Cocoa, Connect Ventures, 2100 Ventures, Vesna Capital, U.ventures, Underline Ventures, Common Magic and Roosh Ventures. Lazarenko noted that the next wave of AI will power factories, vehicles, robots and critical infrastructure. However, current hardware changes create substantial complexity for software teams, slowing innovation.
