FTSE steady ahead of Hunt update – Market Report

The FTSE 100 was little changed in early trading. New chancellor Jeremy Hunt will announce his fiscal plan later today, two weeks earlier than expected.
Goldman Sachs is said to be planning a major reorganization, reported by the Wall Street Journal. Its investment banking and trading arms will be combined as part of the supposed move.
Endeavour Mining commenced construction at the Lafigué project in Côte d’Ivoire, following the completion of a definitive feasibility study. First gold production is expected in the third quarter of 2024.
Asos is in the final stages of agreeing on an amendment to the future financial covenants in its revolving credit facility. It matures in 2024 and will give the company “significantly increased financial flexibility.”
CentralNic said strong trading momentum continued into the final quarter of 2022. Management is confident it will “materially exceed the current market expectations for the full year”.
Mosman Oil and Gas told investors that it has seen steady increases in gross production in its first quarter. Net production amounted to nearly 7,000 barrels oil equivalent per day in September.
Woodbois said all key financial metrics improve in its third quarter. Revenue rose by 29% to a record US$5.8mln, with total sales in the year so far also at a new high of US17.1mln.
