Idaho Champion goes ‘full battery’ with deal to buy lithium pegmatite projects

Idaho Champion (CSE:ITKO, OTCQB:GLDRF) president and CEO Jonathan Buick tells Proactive’s Stephen Gunnion that a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to acquire two prospective lithium pegmatite projects in Quebec will position the company to make a meaningful impact in the North American battery metals sector, complementing its existing cobalt assets in Idaho.

Under the MOU Idaho Champion will acquire a 100% interest in the Blanche and Charles projects in Quebec’s Eeyou Istchee James Bay territory from Quebec Precious Metals (QPM) for C$100,000 in cash plus 12 million company common shares, 50% of which will be subject to escrow for 18 months, giving QPM an approximate 7.4% equity stake in Idaho Champion post-transaction.
