IGTV’s Victoria Scholar spoke to Daniel Lacalle, chief economist at Tressis about the outlook for the global economy in 2021.
Lacalle says he is expecting a K-shape recovery and thinks some analysts and the equity markets are overly optimistic about the shape of the recovery. Lacalle thinks the US will outperform emerging markets and Europe, while sectors such as energy look poised to do well next year. He also explains why history tells us that the declines for the US dollar are unlikely to last longer term.
