Leading Edge Materials positioning itself as a secure source of critical raw materials to the EU

The shift to cleaner energy, as well as energy security as geopolitics threaten supply, are driving demand for critical metals and minerals, according to Leading Edge Materials CEO Filip Kozlowski.

Kozlowski explained that the company is developing a portfolio of projects in the European Union, including graphite and heave rare earth deposits in Sweden and cobalt in Romania, as it positions itself as a supplier of sustainable and secure sources of critical rate materials to European industrial ecosystems.

“If you want exposure to that whole macro theme; people call it a super-cycle as we go from a linear, fossil-based energy system to … a circular metal-based energy system, then you want to have exposure to these various metals and minerals.”
