Mako Gold’s Peter Ledwidge speaks with Proactive’s Elisha Newell about the company’s high-grade gold discovery at Napié’s Komboro prospect in Côte d’Ivoire. Mako has released positive assays from recent shallow reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Komboro Prospect, which confirm the presence of significant mineralisation at a fourth prospect on the Napié Project. The MKG CEO explains the significance of this latest development, particularly on the back of the Mako’s maiden 868,000-ounce gold inferred mineral resource estimate (MRE) at Tchaga and Gogbala. The results validate Mako’s strategy to grow the Napié Gold Project to a multi‐million‐ounce system. Mako will now look to drill more extensively along the 9-kilometre‐long intermittent artisanal mining sites at the end of the wet season.
