Tempest Minerals’ results supports further aggressive exploration

Tempest Minerals’ Don Smith speaks with Proactive’s Elisha Newell about the recent downhole electromagnetic (DHEM) survey the company recently conducted at its Orion target at the Meleya Project, where Tempest has previously announced the presence of mineralisation. Tempest is now waiting on results from the survey which are due in August. Smith explains that the DHEM was done to complement recent assays and further understand the mineral occurrence, with initial results confirming favourable geology. He also highlights that while the assays weren’t as good as expected, preliminary results confirmed the widespread presence of copper and other metals which support the continuation of further aggressive exploration at the project. Additional drilling is planned throughout 2022. Finally, Smith speaks about the recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Karara Mining Ltd for an exploration joint venture (JV) over KML’s exploration leases along strike from the Karara Magnetite Iron Mine in Western Australia.
