Rare Earths Americas expands Shiloh district footprint

Rare Earths Americas has announced plans to extend operations beyond its primary Shiloh project by establishing a new Foothills Rare Earths district within Georgia. Recent drilling activities at the Liberty Peak target have successfully identified monazite-bearing sands comparable to those found at Shiloh, which lies over fifty kilometres away. This discovery suggests that mineralisation exists across the wider district rather than as an isolated deposit.

Initial surface sampling and drilling conducted in June recorded results reaching forty-four point five per cent TREO. The company believes this system may span multiple properties, including Liberty Peak and three other high-priority exploration targets. Collectively, these sites form a district covering approximately seventeen point five times the original Shiloh target area of more than twenty-two thousand acres.

Drilling at Liberty Peak began late in the first quarter with encouraging initial assays showing mineralised intercepts up to ten metres wide and multiple holes ending in enrichment. This implies potential open mineralisation at depth. The company, which listed on NYSE American in May, focuses on heavy rare earth elements for permanent magnets and defence applications.

REA currently controls four exploration projects globally, with the Alpha project in Bahia, Brazil being the most advanced as engineering work proceeds toward an initial assessment.
