Audioboom Group PLC has delivered record revenue and profitability for the first half of its financial year, supported by robust advertising growth and increased podcast consumption. The company disclosed that its revenue bookings for 2026 have already exceeded the total revenue generated throughout 2025.

The podcast production and advertising platform recorded revenue of 45.7 million US dollars for the six months ending 30 June, representing a 30 per cent increase compared to the corresponding period in the previous year. Adjusted EBITDA rose by 80 per cent to 3.2 million US dollars, whilst gross profit advanced 33 per cent to 9.9 million US dollars.

The primary catalyst for this performance was the company’s advertising marketplace, Showcase, which generated revenue of 18.6 million US dollars, marking a 60 per cent year-on-year increase. Average monthly podcast downloads and video views reached 183 million during the second quarter, an 84 per cent rise from the same period twelve months earlier.

The firm confirmed that more than 81 million US dollars of revenue has been secured for 2026, surpassing its total 2025 revenue of 80.4 million US dollars. This achievement comes ahead of the company’s traditionally busiest trading period.

Stuart Last, chief executive, commented on the results, stating that the company continues to implement its growth strategy with discipline and consistency. He emphasised the operational leverage within the platform business model, noting that the 30 per cent revenue increase was accompanied by an 80 per cent expansion in adjusted EBITDA.

Last also revealed that Audioboom had declined three takeover proposals, having determined that each undervalued the business. The company remains committed to its acquisition-focused strategy, which is expected to be bolstered by a new revolving credit facility of up to 10 million US dollars with HSBC. Strategic partnerships with Spotify and Apple are anticipated to facilitate expansion in video advertising and subscription revenue streams.
