
Investors in the United Kingdom have deployed a total of 205.7 million pounds into eight technology startups during the week spanning from July 27 to July 31, according to data tracked by UKTN. This weekly figure represents a significant contraction compared with previous activity levels, marking a decrease of sixty-three per cent on a week-on-week basis.
The funding landscape featured diverse sectors ranging from artificial intelligence and robotics to nuclear energy and property technology. Dwelly secured investment for its AI-powered tools designed to streamline operations within the lettings market by simplifying maintenance tasks, payment processing, and communication channels between landlords, tenants, and letting agencies. The company was established in 2023.
Another notable entry is Agon, founded in 2025, which specialises in software infrastructure capable of generating synthetic battle arenas to train autonomous AI systems for defence applications against adaptive adversaries. Blackstone Innovations Investments joined forces with BNY and Sidekick Partners to back this venture alongside LemonEdge. The latter firm delivers a real-time automated fund accounting system purpose-built for complex workflows within private equity markets.
Further capital flowed into Qureight, an entity founded in 2018 that develops digital infrastructure using deep learning to extract precise clinical endpoints from heart and lung scans to accelerate biopharmaceutical trial processes. Nuclear Turbines also attracted funding with its compact nuclear systems designed to replace steam infrastructure using high-temperature gas turbine technology.
Intropy, established in 2024, builds an AI-native operating system that integrates into enterprise resource planning tools to autonomously manage inventory and pricing decisions across spare parts supply chains. TaskHer connects homeowners and housing associations with vetted tradeswomen to address industry gender gaps, while Kinematic Trees designs robot-agnostic intelligence software to help manufacturers deploy versatile robotic assets.
The round included participation from a wide array of investors including EQT Growth, General Catalyst, s16vc, Begin Capital, DVC, Trinity Capital and various angel groups. Other participants in the week’s deals were Molten Ventures, Hargreave Hale AIM VCT, XTX Ventures, Guinness Ventures, Meltwind, Ascension, IQ Capital, Rhapsody Venture Partners, Zero Carbon Capital, Empirical Ventures, Felix Capital, Quiet Capital, firstminute capital, Trust for London, Resolution Ventures, Ufi Ventures, Second Century Ventures and Daring Capital.
