Xbox Console Prices Rise by Up To 170 Pounds

Microsoft has confirmed significant price increases for its Xbox consoles across Europe and the United Kingdom, following earlier announcements regarding US pricing. The adjustments affect both current models and specific configurations, with some units seeing hikes of over thirty percent.

The one terabyte Xbox Series X disc drive model will cost 669.99 pounds or 799.99 euros, up from its previous price point. Similarly, the five hundred twelve gigabyte Xbox Series S is set to jump by more than forty-three per cent to four hundred twenty-nine ninety nine pounds.

These moves represent a third round of hikes since May two thousand and twenty-five, driven partly by rising costs for memory and storage components linked to artificial intelligence demand. Consequently, the highest capacity model with two terabytes has been discontinued amidst this supply crunch. The launch price of the flagship console in 2020 was recorded at four hundred ninety-nine dollars.

Detailed pricing changes include updates across various Series S and X digital editions as well as disc versions for both storage capacities available to consumers today.
